The Freak is the best new player IMO. My favourite from this gen is Harden, without a doubt. But from the even newer gen, it's gotta be Giannis. I mean there isn't that much time between them, but I think Giannis comes in a newer gen than Harden. Makes it easier on myself this way as well though, as I can have them both as "best" in their own generational cohort. If they are classed as same generation though, I don't know who I'd pick. My favourite players in the game today though are Harden, Giannis, Dillard, Embiid and Leonard though. And yeah, Steph Curry is an assassin, but I like Dillard personally (I like the trail blazers, always have done) I'm really excited to see what Harden can do at the Nets, they have a solid team of superstars right now. Their defence is lacking, but hopefully this either won't matter, or will be addressed. I heard we just signed Blake Griffin too though, another great player from one of my favourite teams of this new generation (the clippers, and thats nuts as the clippers were a joke when I was a kid... saying that though, the Knicks were the Joke of this gen, and they're making a huge come back. was so disheartening to see one of my favourite teams as a kid, totally suck.
